I have never seen a f2p BNS with actually so little p2w aspects in it.

At some points, especially 45, it does seem implied that the only way to move on is by a sudden flare of BNS Gold which is how people get caught and end up buying gold. However, that is just the common response to the shock factor most games try to pull off. You get small amounts of ingame currency as you go on, and then when they know you've reached a point where you'll need something to continue--it's a ridiculous price.

And what is the first reaction most people have? "What? How am I suppose to make this amount when all I have is 'this' amount? ... Oh wait, I can buy it."

And let's be honest,

After seeing that price, we think of the amount of questing we have to go through in order to get it, the struggle. And when you don't have the time or just don't want to deal... best thing to do is buy your way out, but that's because we chose to, not because it's required. You don't pay to win, you just pay to advance to something that in the end, if it's done right, we'll all achieve eventually.

Well, i played from the release day, and seriously, without paying irl money for gold ( or cash shop rng box to get load or mat, so Blade & Soul Gold ) or without scaming at the AH, since there was already ppl with the head start.
All price was insanely high.
I struggled during like 2-3weeks ( or more, dont really remember tho ) with the true profane, because at this time 4-5hours = 1moonwater transformation stone
+ count several days to be able to get the moonwater secret stuff to be able to craft trans stone yourself
+ count even more days / week to far thoses shit faction quest giving jack sh#t for SS to not spare gold
+ count all mat your need for upgrade beside trans stone & ss

You struggle doing the same sh#t 4-5hours / days during easyly more than a month. And time you finaly got everything you need to be self dependant, you barely do money from your craft.

Seriously, as much as i loved that game for the gameplay, so art style, this horrible grindfest setting was absolutely exhausting. Because you "have" to be up to date as much as you can.

That, and the crap server ( and thoses guys dont even need some BNS Items, and certainly never will, fix that ), i finaly dont regret totaly quiting that game.
Actualy, its more a relief when you uninstall the game and say" f# that sh#t grind" i'am done.

And sad such setting totaly waste the game, because, beside that, its really excellent to play, but well.

Blade And Soul Cold Storage Guide

There is only one boss, he's literally right in front of you after clearing mobs. It's a Blood Mane with mechanics reversed: you don't want the robots to hit him (I don't know why exactly).

You can also spawn King Kaari in the dungeon by using three different colored orbs (I don't know where to get them, from Cold Storage mobs perhaps?).

Sogun's Lament/Snow Jade Palace:
http://www.bladeands...ce-guide-64man/
http://www.freedompl...e-palace-guide/

Boss 1: Cheap BNS Gold and Silver Boys:
Two fat sumo guys with axes.
Party splits before coming across these two bosses.
When they do their red area of effect, they will gain a buff. If they reach four stacks, they will wipe the party. The buff can only be removed if you knock them down, but do it at 3 stacks.
Whenever they are knocked down, they will jump over to the other side of the field. They will then grab the tank afterwards, so CC them.
Don't touch the lake in the middle since it one shots you.

Miniboss: Mini Balrok:
Kill six shield guys and take their shield. Mini Balrok will spawn and throw lightning spears that can be reflected with 1.

Boss 2: Balrok:
After some damage he will spawn clones in the sides of the room. You can only get rid of them by CC: the blue one needs double stun and the green one needs double knockdown.
After killing the clones, six shield guys will spawn in the middle. Kill them for their shield and pick it up.
Balrok will throw 12 lightning spears at everyone. Press 1 to reflect them back at the boss.
After Balrok throws the spears, tank needs to throw his shield at Balrok (LMB) to deal massive damage and stun him.

Boss 3: Chicken Ganksquad:
Yes, they're literally the chickens flying around Plog Sanctum.
All they do is take turns flying and shooting feathers at the tank. That's literally it.

Boss 4: Asura
Asura periodically summons 6 flowers around the room, and then vacuum them and everyone else. Everyone needs to take these flowers; they poison you (take antidotes if you have any) and snare you, but make you immune to the vacuum and gives you a chi regen buff. He will heal from absorbing flowers; if he absorbs 5 or more, he wipes the party.
At 90%, he will go to the center of the room and have 4 flaming swords on his back..
He generates an area of effect field around him and is immune to damage while its up.
He will shoot 8 flaming arrows at everyone, so everyone needs to huddle up and use an anti-projectile shield.
He will then shoot two spheres that target the furthest player. Position a tank in front of the group and have them block the first sphere only to Buy Blade And Soul Gold. They need to run around the room afterwards, so someone else needs to block the second sphere. Everyone gets an attack buff once the spheres are blocked.
He then shoots his four flaming swords at the person closest to him (the person who blocked the first sphere), so they need to circle the room to avoid hurting people. At this point he loses his damaging aura so go ahead and run back in.
Finally the phase ends with a vacuum + knockback.

At 70%, he will go to the center of the room and have 5 ice swords on his back.
He will drop ice sword area of effects around the room like Hae Mujin, Bay Lee, and Exterminator, and do it three times.
He then generates an area of effect field around him and is immune to damage while its up, so everyone needs to back off.
He will shoot two spheres. Have one person block both.
He will then shoot 8 ice arrows, so huddle up and anti-projectile shield.
Finally the phase ends with a vacuum + knockback.

At 50% he will stop doing his basic attacks, head to the center of the room, and randomly cycle between fire and ice sword phase. He will also periodically drop flowers as he does this and absorb them in the end of his phases.
I don't know what is "Asura's Brand" attack that Scorpion Belt resists, but freedomplays commented that it's not necessary in KR/CN.

BnS content rush is for 1 thing

This content rush is for 1 thing and 1 thing only its to get you to reach into your pockets I played other region and things progressed naturally there, when you need 1250 achievment points for hongmoon skills you were naturally there or at least close just by playing but now it oh crap I need 1250 geez I only have 700 and so on and so on...They push content to get you to reach into your pocket faster to keep up, all dungeons have a AP requirement because all have rage timers so if you want to do them you must reach into your wallet or watch them pass you by because you have fallen to far behind.

Dungeons in this game start to get a lot harder from this point forward and a weak link truly can mean and most likely will mean failure with Cheap Blade And Soul Gold. In the other region I played in, the dungeon finders slowly fades out because content gets to hard and pugging becomes to difficult because of the ever growing divide from those that spent money and those that don`t . I also would like to mention that it also seems like all resources are being used to pump out content instead of looking after the community and fixing some of the numerous concerns the community has, it`s very obvious to me that the direction taken with the NA. version is all about the money, so sad because playing this game at the pace it was meant to be played at is a much better experience in my opinion.

The thing that annoys me most currently is that new content is farmable day one of any new content update we get and will continue that way for the foreseable of BNS Gold. I have pretty decent gear and made some effort towards that with with crafting/400 runs yeti4/dailies and ofc the famous Cashshop

f:id:albionmall:20160516104323j:plain

Maybe I expect too much from mmo's having played alot of them but , should a new patch/content update be farmable the instant it goes live and folks be miles ahead of its gear requirements from day 1 of the previous content update .

Its obvious atm that if they released content every day untill there isnt anymore left that there would be people keeping up with the curve and clearing content (farming content) with the Cashshops help

This for me is just wrong imho .
6 months for server first kill aint what ppl want agreed but this just isnt a game when it comes to BNS Power leveling . A game involves some sort of challenge/skill

The dps setup (lightning/dark oriented) of Blade & Soul

Yeah you've described one issue that I had perfectly. However that doesn't seem to be the case whenever I play my BM (well obviously considering half the spam abilities are ranged). But whenever I'm playing my SIN, things getting out of hitting range seems to be common.

The biggest issue whenever I play SIN in groups however, is stealth. Stealthing is good for Blade & Soul Gold, but it's really bad for others because of the agro shifts. And considering both dps setup (lightning/dark oriented) uses stealth in one way or the other, this severely diminish the viability of SIN in my eyes, at least for groups, hence why this thread. I'm not experienced enough with SIN or the game in general to know what's in store for a SIN late game, in terms of group PvE.

f:id:albionmall:20160510103114j:plain

aggro shifts should not happen assuming equal gear and a competent tank that specs into extra threat. if you're worried about that either 1. you're overleveled/geared compared to everyone else or 2. your tanks (BM or KFM) don't spec into any of the threat trees and don't dps well.

No no, that's not what I meant. it's quite the opposite, I know SIN can't hold threat, we weren't supposed to, I can perma stealth just fine, this is why I said solo-wise, I have no

problem at all, that's the whole safe bns gold. For instance in 2 man 4 man dungeon. Both class (like for instance, KFM + Dest) were supposed to split the tank, one act as an offtank one tanking the boss (this is from what I've seen people doing 4 man). With me as a SIN, this will never work. my worry in this case is when the main tank suddenly has to tank EVERYTHING because I'm stealthed. That's where the question of SIN's viability in 4 man dungeon comes to mind.

I have been playing BnS assassin for a long time

Hi, I have been playing assassin since the release of the game and there is a question that i keep asking some other assassins but none give me any answer.

There is a skill that protects you from ranged attacks or something and its around you but if you move it stays on you before you say that is the X skill its not because that is a smoke that its placed on the ground and if you move you're not protected anymore. So my question how to get Blade & Soul Gold, what is the skill that protects you from ranged attacks or so?
Help appreciated.

It makes you immune to everything while casting, and if specced far enough makes you immune for 1 second afterwards.

This is a good skill to use against summoners for free gap closer stealth breaks(It also regens your hp if he resist it, and continues to try attacking him even if he stealths, so once it breaks him out you can stealth on your own for free)

There no projectile protection skill except #x but if you are talking about skill that you saw the graphic where there shuriken surround you when ever you go.

it's a #2 skill most left side skill tree, which has 5% hp shield when fail in countering.

Blade And Soul: more of a nerf then a buff

Looks like a bunch of absolutely pointless changes, and more of a nerf then a buff.

1. i'm not sure why anyone would want to put 5 points in lotus flower.

2. With your first skill referenc "arcid star" No idea what that is, but if your talking about the shuriken that procs shadowstep to Buy BNS Gold, if they change us to only being able to use it after those conditions and its not useable all the time while stealthed, we are going to get ABSOLUTELY demolished, that is our ONLY go to tool right now, our only real safe approach and or combo extender etc.

The majority of these changes look like they are based around giving the Sin higher sustained PvE damage, and well, thanks a lot bro just what I always wanted. (Considering most of us cleared ALL of the pve content in like a week or less? And had no issues, lol.)

Basically looks like they buffed a bunch of useless crap that's still going to be useless, along side adding in balance changes to our most concrete move in the current game, problem is that seems to be balanced around us being lvl 50 and having Shunpo etc.

Congrats, now you can't ShadowStep people who spin constantly, you legit have to walk up to them to start a combo. Goodluck

Even if they have no escapes and you crit every single attack in your combo. (Assuming you stun/daze at least twice.) your whopping 20,000 dmg will be absolutely meaningless the second your enemy crits you for 20,000.

Or begins an unescapeable combo where each hit does 3-5k dmg. (And even if you could tab here, it would only be suicide as these are just 'trash' moves for that class that have no meaning on its ability to kill you.)

So much love.

Coupled with the last patch that literally buffed blade and soul gold farming, reworked several classes, yet only added 1 skill, that may or may not be obtainable by Sins, and if it is, I'm pretty sure no one wants it =X.

Blade And Soul - bomb instead of poison breath

1. Personally I run choke bomb instead of poison breath. With how much damage you do during dark strike, wouldn't the damage you do when starting the RB/LB/F right away with 5 stacks be more than the additional damage you gain from poison breath? it's about a 10k damage to 3k and poison breath has about a 2 sec cast time for BNS Gold. Choke bomb seems a lot more flexible while poison breath grounds you for some time if you want to get full 5 stacks. Also with choke bomb, I am able to run-> 4-> blink step into the enemy.

2. Have you tried using just RMB/F when you have Fighting spirit buff on? The crit rate would be close to 100 and practically guaranteed DS on hit. If you pair X smoke bomb and shadow drain-> unstealth, you wouldn't have much chi problems also.

Overall, I'm just curious on your opinion with Choke bomb, Shadow drain for chi regen and unstealth, and pure RB/F spam during fighting spirit.

For reference, here's my opening combo:

Windwalk-> 4-> RMB (Blink step stealth)->2-> 4-> RMB/LMB/F combo to next 5 stack-> Tab->1(Shadow drain for focus recovery)-> LB(Spinal tab to exit stealth and lower shadow drain cd)-> RMB/LMB/F combo til bns gold farmer-> V (Fighting spirit/poison reset)-> 1(You can try for 4 also since it's close to getting off CD, but it's a tight timing)-> LMB->4->X-> RB/F (Dont need to LMB since your crit rate is 95-99% and you have chi regen from X and Shadow Drain)
