How do you level a clan in Blade And Soul

My friends and I have been talking about looking for a clan to join that we'd be more than willing to help, but we don't understand clans. Out of all my friends, I'm the only one who played the chinese client but I didn't know much chinese so I never got into the clan making aspect.

How do you level a clan (rank?)
Is it difficult to build a clan with ~6 members only (current amount of us friends who have R4PG BNS Gold Store)?
Is there a benefit to being in your own clan, or should we just join a clan (cerulean) that's established on our server already?

If it's the case that we should just cut our losses now, is there an established clan that is looking for members who can guide us as we reach the endgame content?
(Not sure on exact number just yet since launch is coming and we don't know if some will be able to make it onto Poh)

My friends and I are leveling crafts and gatherers, if that means anything, and I'm teaching them about the pvp quests

Creating a clan is easy, but level up a clan need people to contribute as the level grows with the help of BNS Gold. Sure, you can make a clan with 6 people, it mean you will need each person to contribute more if you want to rank up the clan. But that's enough for clan crafting(contribute)

Blade & Soul: Unusual Loot System

NCSoft's Blade & Soul has a high emphasis on dungeons that are essential to complete in order to get your equipment evolution material items. This means that you will most likely be spamming some of the instances until you finally get the desired weapon or accessory.

Many of you must have noticed the unusual way loot distribution works in Blade & Soul. Unlike in most MMOs, Blade & Soul has a loot system that revolves around bidding on the drops within-game currency. This is a rather strange way to go and it reminds me of the good old sell runs in WoW, back when ICC arrived and with the use of an addon, the raid leader could create auctions for the dropped items and by the end of the raid the total collected BNS Gold was distributed between those who have not taken any loot.

This auction-style distribution system seems to be slightly malfunctioning in the west as many of the players are simply bidding on the loot in order to raise the amount of in-game currency that is split between the party members, making it hard for those who actually want the item to end up getting it.

To be honest, it currently seems that the whole loot distribution system needs some heavy adjustments from the developers as this also seems to cause issues when questing in groups. During my 2-3 weeks of Blade & Soul gaming so far, I have bumped into plenty of situations when players simply decided to bid on weapons that were not even used by their classes, just to make more money.

Hopefully, NCSoft will address this problem in the near future or they can expect plenty of angry looks from the current western player base.

The premium - non premium in Blade & Soul

Did you read anything i wrote you are the problem u log on and go afk all day long to come back so you can play right away... ( your exact words ) so you and about 10 000 people do that

And then Massive q times if you didnt do that we wouldn't have massive q times people would be getting dropped for being afk and we could all log in.... I don't understand what you don't understand about that .. that includes you FYI ...

I'm not saying this would solve q times your still going to wait but instead of waiting 6 hours you might wait 30 min to Buy BNS Gold .....i don't think there is a way to solve q times on a popular server but we can cut it down......

and if you go to the bottom of my post you will see that i wrote it seems they have figured something out.....q times were only 20 min yesterday at peak time....

I'm sorry I don't know what server you were getting on yesterday but it was not Mushin. Peak times yesterday were upwards of 80 min.
Did you not read my example or did you just not comprehend the numbers I put on there.

Literally all day until about 2-3 PM, the queues were only 5-15 min for most people (premium - non premium). Then at 3-5 PM when most people are getting off work or school, then the queues spiked to what I said above (80 min+). How is it that afk people didn't affect the queues during the day but as soon as the afternoon rush hits it's suddenly THEIR fault that the queue times spiked? I don't get that logic because it doesn't make sense.

I'm not going to try to control what people do with their Cheap Blade And Soul Gold. If they want to afk all day for whatever reason, I'm not going to say they can't. I never afk the entire day, at most it's a few hours if I need to run errands and I know I'd get back around peak time so I just leave myself logged in.

Which BNS servers had the highest populatio

BNS repeatedly told people which servers had the highest population and which servers have the lowest. They literally have a recommended list of servers on the homepage when you launch the game.

If you CHOOSE to go on the most populated servers there's going to be a queue/wait time; for you to call me scum just because I'm pointing out the obvious then that's your own misinterpretation of what I'm saying.

I'm not being rude or trying to act like I'm better than anyone just because Blade-Soul understand how to work the system.
"Hey if I know Mushin is the highest populated server and usually has queue maybe I shouldn't play on said server"
It's basic logic.

And what do you want me to do about the queues, write a letter to NCSoft and demand they increase the server capacity for a second time? No that's selfish and rude, they already did what we asked and yet more and more people think they can cram into 1-4 servers. They gave us multiple servers for a reason, spread out, it's seriously not that hard and half the game can be played across servers anyway so what's the big deal?

If me pointing out the obvious earns me the title of internet scum then so be it. But do not put your choice of server and the queue problem that you experience on me or anyone else just playing the game, for that matter.

Be significantly Blade & Soul deteriorated at the same time

I believe you CAN have fun with Aus ping but it can also be significantly deteriorated at the same time the shear amount of effort i need to put in to fill the reduced dmg and work around the small cc break windows and parry windows can easily make the pvp experience go down hill real fast. Im glad you still have fun and can make it to plat but i know with 100% certainty ill never be as good as Americans and will lose various game due to the ping. The thing is, is that it will always be there and i'll always be working from behind. I personally do not understand how you deal with it but thanks for the opinon

Personally, I deal with it by not caring, yes that may come off as stupid or unreasonable Blade & Soul Gold, but I literally don't care and have accepted the fact that "It won't get better."

Once you stop worrying about ping and stop caring, you'll start to enjoy things more. Yeah it's fun to PvP, yeah it sucks seeing people go faster than you only because of ping, but once you stop caring, it's pretty much "okay, cool, I can still play and still have fun, that's enough for me."

I've been playing with 240 ping from New Zealand. I havent touched pvp yet and so far im really really enjoying the game. Yeah I don't dps as much as other players but when you're 6 man dungeoning no one even knows whos doing what (at this point in time at least) xD So even though im not DPSIng much, i get carried and thats still fun enough for me

Even though I have 240 ping, It feels so damn good executing a full combo i've never had this much fun clearing out random mobs and doing all these braindead "kill x of y" quests. Its because of these Blade & Soul Items, I can look past the whole 240 ping and just enjoy the game. After the ping booster issues are all sorted, im probably gonna use pingzapper or battleping because I tried one of those and managed to get down to 180 ping. This pretty much changed the whole game for me, but i only tried this on a 30 minute trial, so i've yet to fully experience a decrease of 60 ping on this amazing game

Sitting at Blade And Soul True Profane weapon with full Arena set

I found the trailer for this game randomly on Youtube and since then have kept up with videos on it's PvP which I loved the look of and, the summoner. I've always had an affinity towards pet-user classes and this just seemed like it would be the perfect fit and I wasnt disappointed. Over the years, I was tempted to try and get onto the TW version, hell even download the RU broken version, but I didnt. I wanted to wait for it to come out so that I could enjoy it fully Blade & Soul Items. During CBT, I played like a maniac. Didn't skip any quest dialogue, any cutscene. Did it with the intention that come head-start, I would power my way to 45 and begin gathering the necessary tools to get to the available endgame.

Needless to say, Ive done that and am currently sitting at True Profane weapon with full Arena set. I still have to improve my shields by feeding some crit shields into them (maybe some piercing), so I still have plenty to improve on my character so that when new content arrives, I'll be prepared to take it on. Currently leveling two alts to 45 as well so that I can do Faction dailies on them for the soulstones and maybe E. Supply dailies. I am content with what I have to do and am still excited everyday that I play the game.

I knew that I would be rushing through content and therefore have less to do once I reached endgame, but I chose to do it anyways because I know there will be plenty of content to come in the future. I don't like to peak but Ive seen the newer dungeons and they look super fun to do, with lots of Soul Shields (Regen Soul Shield for Summ pls ;-;) and weapons/acc/souls to farm. Looking forward to trying out Warlock as well as getting my HM levels and doing the 6v6 which I feel will be my personal favorite PvP event to do. Im going to dabble in arena as well and practice my skills (currently Blade & Soul Gold 1610 achieved in 9 consecutive wins) and looking forward to Blackwyrm.

I have plenty to do still and in a month or two time, we'll receive new content. Im currently more than content with what we have. Can there be improvements? Of course. But Im quite happy anyways. Its barely been 2 weeks since release, I doubt they would release content this fast simply because the majority of the player-base is still working their way towards catching up. I dont believe there will be an issue of content with this game for at least a year maybe year and half.

Blade & Soul Launcher doesn't open after closin

Alright, hoping I can get some assistance with this.

I can launch my Blade and Soul directly on startup. That is, when I turn my PC on, I can open the Launcher no problem, enter my username/password, and can play the game just fine.

The issue occurs when I attempt to exit the game for whatever reason. If it's just turning it off after playing for a bit, or turning it off and not turning my computer off for extended time away. Whenever I come back to it, I can click Blade-Soul Gold, and it won't open the launcher to enter my username/password.

I've attempted to end the process tree, I've tried to end the task, I've tried to do a repair. It seems the only thing that works, is completely resetting my PC.

This workaround gets the game to open perfectly, and I'll be using it to ensure that I can get on the game after updates.

Looks like the only issue is, that I'll have to use the launcher to update my game files - otherwise I won't be able to open it this way? So I'll only have to reset for updates, instead of /every time I want to get on.

You'll only need to run the launcher when there is an update. You can easily check the official forums for when those are. If there is no update, then you can use the bat file workaround I made in that thread every single time you play.
